It’s basically used when a motorhome is towing another vehicle by way of a tow bar.If your towing vehicle has the 2-wire system and the vehicle being towed is on the 3-wire system, where the vehicle usually have amber turn signal separate from the break signals, this vehicle-to-vehicle tail light converter will need to be use. Features: * Used for converting a 2-wire electrical system to 3-wire * Constructed with SMT circuitry for better performance and durability * No heavy-duty flasher or direct battery connection required * Color-coded wires for easier installation * 2.1 Amps per circuit Installation Instructions: 1). Position this converter at the rear of the TOWED vehicle; 2). Connect the YELLOW LEAD (import) to towing vehicle LEFT turn/brake light; 3). Connect the GREEN LEAD (import) to towing vehicle RIGHT turn/brake light; 4). Connect the WHITE LEAD (ground) to the Chassis ground; 5). Connect the YELLOW LEAD (outport) to the TOWED vehicle LEFT turn light (rear); 6). Connect the GREEN LEAD (outport) to the TOWED vehicle RIGHT turn light (rear); 7). Connect the RED LEAD (outport brake) to TOWED vehicle brake light (or to switch).
