I’ve had a number of requests to make these pedals again, so I finally got around to making a few more sets.Only full pedal sets are available on the Helix BMX website. But replacement spindles, cages, bodies, etc. are available right here in my eBay store. Get ’em while I’ve got ’em! This is a brand new, reproduction set of Bob Reedy Ultimate Pro pedals, made by Helix BMX. These have 9/16″ threads (for 3pc cranks). They are only available at this time with Silver (raw aluminum) cages. You can use them just as they are, or send the cages out for anodize with your other aluminum restoration parts to be anodized any color you want. Helix BMX pedals are a true replica of the original Bob Reedy Ultimate Pro pedals of the late ’70s and early ’80s. An amazing level of detail of the original construction, materials, and finishing was duplicated from the originals. Helix BMX pedals are a very high quality, less costly alternative to the nearly impossible to find NOS (New Old Stock) originals. The Helix BMX Reedy pedals are MADE IN THE USA! They were reverse engineered from a brand new NOS (New Old Stock) set of original Bob Reedy pedals. They were computer modeled in 3D CAD software to ensure exact dimensions and geometry for manufacturing. The pedals are very precisely made to be an exact reproduction. Each cage is discreetly marked with the year they were made in a very small spot that is completely covered by the pedal body (between 2 screw holes) once the cages are mounted. The pedal bodies themselves are engraved with the year on one end only (nearest to the threaded end of the spindle). The Bob Reedy pedals are some of the most sought after and most difficult to find vintage BMX pedals out there. They were greatest BMX racing pedals of their time (back in the early ’80s). Pretty much all original sets of Reedy pedals have thrashed or destroyed cages after 30+ years of BMX. If you have a set of these pedals, or hope to find a pair someday, …or if you have a set of Helix BMX Reedy pedals, please see my other listings for replacement cages. I haven’t offered them in over 10 years! Only full pedal sets are available on the Helix BMX website. But replacement spindles, cages, bodies, etc. are available right here in my eBay store.
