This 3-string set of CBG strings is the answer! This is great set of 3 strings voiced specifically for a Cigar Box Guitar. These strings are intended for use on instruments with a standard scale length similar to modern electric guitars (in the range of 24-26″ nut to bridge), and are intended to be tuned to an “Open G” tuning (G D G). This set is great for folk, bluegrass, old-time music and mountain music picking. String sizes are .022″ wound, .012″ plain steel and .009″ plain steel. Open G is a great setup for both slide (fretless) AND fretted playing, and great for the blues! These are quality American-made strings that we have used on our own CBGs (and other store-bought instruments) for years, not cheap Chinese knock-offs, so buy with confidence! INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ… We ship packages via the U. S. Postal Service, either First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International.
