Here we have a vintage Girl Scout Interest Project Patch (otherwise known as an “IP”) earned by Cadettes/Seniors called High-Tech Communication. It was in the World of the Today and Tomorrow category and therefore has an orange border. This design was first offered in 1983 and discontinued entirely in 1996. This is one of the most rare badges of the series, with only 41,263 being made in its 13 years of production (compared to 301,391 of “Fashion, Fitness and Makeup” the most common badge of this era).
