THIS IS AN IBANEZ GA5FMTCE SPRUCE TOP THINLINE ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC CLASSICAL NYLON STRING GUITAR. THIS IS A PRO GRADE GUITAR.The GA5FMTCE is a GA series classical acoustic/ electric guitar The GA5FMTCE features a thinline classical body with a Venetian cutaway and a flamed maple top with fan bracing on sapele sides and back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a classical mosaic decal rosette. It has an okume neck with a 21-fret purpleheart fingerboard. These guitars are often sold at hundreds of dollars less than their ‘new’ counterparts. Factory 2nd guitars are deemed as such directly from the manufacturer and have never been previously sold in retail or distributed to a music store. They are marked as a 2nd by the manufacturer when they fail to pass final inspection. They usually have a minor cosmetic finishing flaw that prevents them from being sold as new instruments. These instruments do not have major flaws (UNLESS STATED). These blemishes do not affect the playability of the instruments at all. Apart from the defect listed they are perfect, all the electronics, pickups, tuners, neck and frets etc. are good. I buy my guitars and basses directly from the manufacturer. There is no manufactures warranty and sometimes it is difficult to identify why some of these guitars were marked as seconds. Each instrument gets set up and checked by me before it is released for sale. Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all. Instruments are stamped with an S on the back of the headstock.
