eBay MARANTZ 26 VINTAGE AM/FM STEREO RECEIVER FULLY RESTORED You are bidding on one of Marantz’s AM/FM Stereo receivers from the early 70s!!! The Faceplate is nice but has some marks. (8.5/10) All the lettering is perfect corners are perfect. Faceplate and dial glass cleaned inside and out. Specifications RMS Power Per Channel 14 Damping Factor @ Load Impedance 30 Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) 0.9% Marantz Model 26 Work Sheet 86 components replaced total 54 electrolytic capacitors 4 film capacitors 3 output transistors 1 main filter/ripple capacitor 6 switching diodes 18 transistors Work Performed Receiver was stripped down and cleaned thoroughly Face Plate and Knobs washed and polished Top and bottom cover washed Back panel connections cleaned and lubed All switches and controls three stage cleaned and cycled Amplifier, power supply and phono board completely hand re-soldered and flux cleaned All 54 electrolytic capacitors were replaced with Panasonic and Nichicon Brands 4 film capacitors on the power supply and amplifier boards replaced with low tolerance polypropylene types 3 output transistors failed test and were replaced with NOS replacements The main filter/ripple capacitor was replaced with 6800uf/100V type 6 switching diodes responsible for amplifier heat control/clamping replaced with 1N4148 type All 18 transistors on the phono board, pre-amplifier, tone control and amplifier driver board replaced with superior replacements by On-Semi and Fairchild Amplifier’s Idle Current set to factory specification (10mv) All modes tested for 6-hour duration Terms · Local pick up is welcome. · Actual unit in photos. · Well packaged shipped fully Insured by FED-EX. · Sold as is, with no further guarantee but you can send it back if it is not as listed or as shown in the pictures. · Payment due in 3 days from date of purchase.
