New in Box and Packaging. Oriental Limited (Samhongsa) EMD GP-7 1500HP Passenger Geep. With steam generator and “torpedo” air tanks on the roof. No dynamic brakes. Absolutely clean! No tarnish, fingerprints or oils. Did not run since entire model is in plastic shrink from the factory. I wasn’t going to destroy it’s authenticity by taking the packaging off. Wheels are clean and new. Box, plastic and foam are complete and in nice shape. See photos for condition. Box is in good condition, all corners intact with minimal scratches/scuffs. No lighting. No paperwork or literature. If I haven’t gotten to it now, I never will. Brasstrains has one used for $150. It’s not as nice as this one! This is brand new in the package. Winterization hatch and other parts in unopened baggies. Foam is excellent. From around 1984. Was going to make a NYC “Torpedo Geep” out of it. I guess not. YOUR ITEM WILL BE PACKED AND PADDED IN NEW BOXES AND VIRGIN MATERIALS THE WAY WE LIKE OUR TRAINS TO SHOW UP, AND OFTEN DON’T. I’M NOT SENDING YOUR TRAIN IN LAST NIGHT’S SAUSAGE AND EXTRA CHEESE PIZZA BOX TO BE SURE! It may be funny now, but not when it’s your trains that come to you that way!!! Don’t laugh, that happened! A note about our packaging: We only use new boxes or cardboard. All packaging materials and Kraft box tape are renewable and recyclable. Plastic in disposable packaging is just wrong for trains. I despise packing peanuts, so there’s that too. We only charge actual cost of shipping from the carrier. No mark-ups on shipping to make up for an artificially low selling price to pull you in. We hate that game. I bet you do too. If you want shipping insurance on you item, please let me know via eBay messenger. We don’t automatically provide it but can add it to the cost for you if you would like coverage. Meaningful tracking information is provided automatically when we actually ship the item. We do that quickly! We gladly combine shipping. If you add the item to your cart and when done, checkout using the cart icon. We adhere to the 3 day shipping window “on paper” since as much as we wish this were a full-time job, it’s not. We get frustrated with vendors who print a shipping label and then sit on your item for three or four days before packing it up and shipping it out. Occasionally, your item will sit for a day in that status with me over a weekend if I get your order packed early. It typically means the Post Office is closed.
