This is a speedometer overlay for a Piaggio Beverly BV-350 Scooter-motorcycle The stock Piaggio speedometer reads in KPH (Kilometers per hr), with small MPH numbers located below. This can be annoying to mentally correct quickly to MPH for US (& UK) roads. This overlay goes on top of the stock speedometer glass to give you a quick visual of your speed in miles per hour. It is made of a vinyl material with a light adhesive so it sticks to the glass and will not blow off. Piaggio should have made the United States (& UK) model BV-350 scooters with MPH speedometers, but since they did not, this is an inexpensive solution to correct the problem. You get 1 overlay for $14.95 + FREE MAILING (To US & *UK buyers only) It will be shipped via the US Post Office – first class mail. We cannot refund those charges once they have been paid. ——————————————————————————————————————————– Piaggio BV-350 MPH Overlay installation Instructions The overlay can be removed after the installation, however, doing so may destroy it. Therefore, once installed it should not be removed unless it is to be removed permanently. The installation is simple but you need to install it carefully for it to come out correctly. Note: When the overlay is installed correctly it will be centered on the upper portion of the glass and have an 1/16″ gap between it and the speedometer sides. Important: The speedometer face must be clean and dry prior to installation. 1. Carefully cut along the dotted line and, after reading the note below the line, discard the lower portion.. 2. Remove the backing from the overlay. 3. Starting from the top and working down. Center the overlay on the speedometer but do not let it touch the glass yet. Then carefully place just the upper edge of the overlay onto the glass leaving about 1/16 ” gap at the top. 4. Working down from the top, carefully install the rest of the overlay onto the glass. 4. Finally, smooth out any air bubbles with your fingers.
