Hello Folks! I am offering up an RCDM (RC Don Manufacturing) custom made 3D printed front roof rack for the Axial Jeep “Mighty” FC 1/10 scale crawler body. I designed this roof rack to protect my Jeep FC body and give the body a custom scale appearance that is like no other. This roof rack does a great job of protecting the top and windshield areas of the FC body from being scratched upon roll over. It also provides a great mounting location for an LED light bar (light bar not included) which is protected by a thick plastic “visor” with the RCDM logo on it. This roof rack was custom made for the Axial FC 0.040″ vacuum formed polycarbonate body (AXA31268) and is held in place with ten M2.6 screws and blind nuts that are included. The FC roof rack will accommodate most 6″ light bars (164mm wide opening) and is shown in the pictures with two types installed: the RC4WD KC Hilites C Series LED light bar (cat # Z-E0061) and the Axial Universal Light Bar Set (cat #AX31152). Both lights fit however the RC4WD light bar will need longer hardware to attach it to the RCDM roll cage (not included). This kit will come with eight plastic spacers to fill in the gap on the ends of the light bars if needed. Replacement Side Support Braces are available as spares should you need them out on the trail. Note: Custom hardware and spacers may be needed when using shorter length light bars (which are not included with this rack). The installer may need to fabricate these spacers or use L-brackets and screws to attach the light bar to the visor.******* The light bars in these pictures are NOT included in this listing *******This design has been “rock” tested for many hours of crawling on some of the toughest terrain imaginable. Get your RCDM scale FC roof rack to protect your RC investment and improve scale appearance !!!Each roof rack takes us 8 hours to print and is assembled and inspected by hand!Note: This kit requires drilling ten 7/64″ holes in the FC body which can be done easily using the roof rack as a layout tool. First assemble the roof rack with the 14 included M2.6 x 8mm screws to resemble the finished pictures in this description. There are three lengths of screws provided with this kit so be careful to pay attention to where the screws are temporarily threaded into the cage so they can be re-installed correctly. Place the assembled roof rack where you want it on the body and carefully drill right through the mounting holes of the roll cage into the polycarbonate body with a 7/64″ drill bit. Start with the top four holes (after you have aligned the roof rack) and then install the four M2.6 x 10mm screws into the plastic blind nuts to secure the roof rack for the next set of holes. Now you can drill the six outer support legs into the body (making sure they stay how you want them) and install the six M2.6 x12mm screws and blind nuts. Now you are ready to hit the trail with a custom look that fits the FC perfectly !!!Be sure to check out my new bed rack system (sold as part #RCDM048) which bolts right up to this roof rack!!!This auction is for 1 black 3D printed ABS plastic roof rack assembly (four bolt together pieces – see picture), 14 – M2.6 x 8mm hex socket button head screws, 4 – M2.6 x 10mm button head screws, 6 – M2.6 x 12mm button head screws, 10 plastic blind nuts and 8 included (but optional) plastic light bar spacers (RC rock crawler vehicle and LED light bars in pictures are not included).This rack weighs 76 grams with hardware.This kit will require a 1.5mm Allen wrench to assemble as well as a 7/64″ drill bit to install the rack on the polycarbonate FC body (not included).
