Keep in mind that it is the installers responsibility to assure that the bar or cage is installed to meet the race organizations rules as to fit or placement of components and welding process. Our drift cages are made specifically for both the hobbyist and the serious racer looking to compete in SCCA, NASA, or Formula D Events. All drift car cages feature a main hoop diagonal and dual door bars (Can be made into dual X-Bars). Our cages come standard in the following materials, but additional sizes are available upon request for a nominal charge. 1 5/8 OD .120 Wall Drawn Over Mandrel Tubing for the serious racer looking to compete. 1 5/8 .OD .134 Wall Mild Steel Tubing for the hobbyist looking for that drifting look. All Ebay Cages come in 1 5/8OD .134 Wall ERW mild steel for the hobbyist going after that formula D look. If you are going to be competing in any SCCA, NASA, or Formula D competition, our DOM cage will most likely be required. Please contact us for details on how to purchase our DOM version of this cage. Note: ERW Cages will NOT pass tech inspection for most classes. Our ERW Mild Steel cages were design as a low cost alternative to our DOM Cages as well as for appearance purposes. All RRC cages are weld in type cages and feature notched tube ends, where applicable for ease of installation. Note, because of differing driver sizes and main hoop locations, roof hoop and windshield down bars are not notched! Some minor trimming may be required during installation.
