Thank you for your interest in my Sega CDX! Please read the full description below, while rather lengthy it contains detailed condition information for the components individually. This product will require an adult signature upon delivery due to its value. Please make sure you have someone to receive the package or schedule the delivery. Carrier will depend on location of buyer, but likely FedEx. This is a great CIB bundle with most of the original packaging materials including the bags and at least one of the twist ties were original. Due to eBay’s 24 photo limit I am unable to include full size pictures of all angles of components of this bundle. I’ve included several collages that include scaled versions of full-sized pictures. To clarify, if you see two of the same controllers/manuals/games in the same pictures it’s just ONE, showing different angles. The complete contents are described below and are what this console came with originally. If you’d like to see the full size of a picture of a component to better evaluate the condition shown, please feel free to message me with which pictures you’d like to see. The box has considerable superficial scratches and scuffs and edge wear. This was packed in a box with packing peanuts and unfortunately some of the packing peanut coating transferred and fused to the box. Minor small dents, and a small puncture hole on the specifications end of the box. Box coating was torn/damaged on the back right over the “WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL” logo. The manual and pack-ins are still SEALED in original bag with factory tape. Never opened. Power supply has very minor superficial scuffs to the casing. Works. A/V cable has been tested and works. Due to how it was stored the console-side plug is slightly bent at a weird angle, but no damage to the cord. Controller has been tested and is working. There’s some moderate superficial scratches and scuffs as pictured. Game bundle has original banding. All the games have been tested on the CDX and are working. The Sega Classics case has slight separation of the cardboard on the top edge. Likely due to the age of the adhesive used. Edge wear is also present. Some scuffs from the cardboard banding on the spine. The manual is in great condition and crisp. The top and bottom of the spine has extremely small tears. Again, likely from the cardboard band when it was slid on and off. Unmarked. Ecco manual has an overall slight bend due to how it was stored in the bundle. Very slight edge wear on the spine. Crisp and unmarked. Both discs are in excellent, near mint condition with few if any scratches/scuffs to the underside. Label side likewise in excellent condition. Sonic CD case front and back are in great condition. The spine top has some wrinkling/pushback. Middle of spine has some scuffing of the ink causing a whiteish mark, likely from the cardboard band rubbing against it. Disc is in excellent near mint condition with few if any scratches/scuffs to the underside. Label side is likewise in excellent condition. Tested and working. Manual is in excellent condition, crisp and like new. Unmarked. The console has been tested with CD games, cartridge games, and music CDs. Please note: the system can run using two AA batteries, but will only play music CDs this way. You can not play cartridge or CD games using the batteries, the system must be plugged in to do so. This is how it was designed, not a flaw in the system. See video showing the music function works with no cords other than corded headphones. The display for the tracks also works though I know it’s hard to see in the video due to lighting glare. The console is in excellent condition with some very minor scuffs, see pictures. NO BATTERIES WILL BE INCLUDED. Video shows in order: CD function with batteries, Sega CD splash screen when no disc is inserted, Sonic CD’s start page from the game bundle working, and Earthworm Jim Cartridge (NOT INCLUDED) proving that the cartridge reader is still fully functional. Due to variations in monitor color reproduction actual product coloring may appear slightly different than pictured. All authentic, original, and from a single owner. Smoke free home.
