Vintage custom built Serotta Concurs Titanium. This is a truly unique build, perfect for the small rider! 48cm (c-c) seat tube, 48cm (c-c) top tube, with forks & stays sized for 650b wheels to keep this small frame in better proportion to the rider. Perfect for men or women or juniors +/- 5′ tall or less. As might be expected from Ben Serotta, this is a superbly crafted titanium frame using Serotta’s personally developed Colorado Concept Ti tubing with immaculate welds. The carbon fork is 1″, painted a metallic silver to closely match the bare titanium frame. The frame is in pristine condition, with only a couple of scratches on the decals; the fork has a few cosmetic scratches, but nothing exposing the carbon weave. Serial number (C CT 48 465). Build date is unknown, but given the components, it is likely to be from the early to mid 2000’s. Components include: Shimano Dura-Ace 7700 series drivetrain, with 9 speed brifters in good working condition & light wear (no crashes), front & read derailleurs in excellent condition, a 167.5mm, 53x39t crankset with well worn chainrings & fairly scratched up arms, and a 12-25 – 9 speed cassette. Shimano Dura-Ace dual pivot brake calipers in excellent condition. Chris King Headset in excellent condition. Mavic SUP red-anodized custom built 650b wheelset in excellent condition, round and true. Front is 28 spoke laced radially with stainless straight pull spokes; rear is 28 spokes, laced radially on the non-drive side, 3x on the drive side. Includes new Continental Grand Prix 4000sII 23mm tires. The frame has room to go up to at least 28mm wide tires, maybe 30-32mm… Markings are worn off the handlebars, but they are aluminum, 38cm wide x 25.4mm, modern ergo bend. Stem is not branded, but appears 70mm in a 7 degree angle, with 25.4mm clamp and fits a 1-1/8″ steerer (it’s installed with a shim to adapt to the 1″ fork). Salsa stem cap. Seat post is a.
