SET330R3 operates in heat or frost, in sand or snow, in powder dust the Enhanced RED-tech EDM consistently measures to a wide variety of objects. Sokkia SET330R3can stand up to any wet weather condition that can occur in the field, giving the benefit of not experiencing down time due to inclement weather. SET330R3 offers accurate long range reflectorless measurement up to 1,140 feet as well as industry’s shortest distance 1 foot (30cm). Ideal for measurements to benchmarks close to the instrument or to points on the ground in archaeological survey. Narrow visible laser beam is also used as a laser pointer; the EDM precisely measures the point the laser dot indicates. Weather storing point data from large sites, downloading data from a PC for setting out SET330R3 internal memory will store up to 10,000 points. Data communication to a data collector is possible with the RS-232C interface cable. A large LCD display each side of the instrument automatically maintains optimal contrast and visibility using a built-in temperature sensor. When using a single prism, you can measure as far as 13,000 feet at once, with an accuracy of (±2 + 2ppm x D) mm. The SET330R3 uses a precision internal dual-axis tilt sensor to provide automatic compensation for both vertical and horizontal angles to ensure superior accuracy even when the instrument is out of level.
