Vintage 22K Weeping Gold Vanity Set: Trinket Bowl, Vase, Candleholder (Set #2) Ever wanted old Hollywood glamour for your dressing table? Know someone who would love it for a gift? This trio of a covered dish, small Art Deco vase and a flower shaped candle holder are just that level of fabulous! The elegant scalloped-edged bowl and its 5-pointed lid are glazed with 22k gold, in a pattern known as “weeping gold,” a textured bright gold finish with distinctive bumpy drips. The vase is also weeping gold, but in a more diffuse pattern. It’s got the strong geometrics typical of Art Deco with a central floral medallion. There is a silky covering on the bottom that may cover a maker’s name. The candleholder is a floral shape and shows the greatest wear of all the pieces on its smooth gold. Some wear is expected with vintage pieces; it’s part of their charm and character. It has “Warrented 22k Gold USA” on the bottom. They would look gorgeous on a vanity or bath counter for jewelry or cosmetics. The small vase would be perfect for makeup brushes.
